SX OS 2.6 Beta released: full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x

From Team Xecuter:

This new 2.6 BETA of SX OS adds full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x, including ALL functionality you expect when using our product. We've been pioneering our own unique and proprietary solution for defeating any future firmware protection and we're quite happy with the results so far.

This release is marked as BETA because we changed things drastically under the hood to streamline future firmware updates and some things may inadvertently behave differently.

That does not mean it hasn't been vetted at all, so give it a shot today!

Of course, we haven't been sitting idly behind the scenes either. A lot of our development resources and attention has been dedicated to bringing SX OS to those "unhackable" switches. We are working hard to bring the SX OS experience to all of you who are stuck with an "unhackable" switch. Stay tuned for more news!

A. Not my company.

B. What the hell are you talking about? SX OS is working just fine. TX is pressing on as usual. The only place having problems with the whole thing is gbatemp.
If they didn't care about gbatemp, why did the remove the key from plainview?

You are asking the wrong person. Unlike most users here I won't speculate why things happen the way they do. My hands aren't in the code. I personally think this whole argument is childish. No matter how the keys are obtained or used.... they are still being obtained and used. Period.

Said issues were addressed yesterday in an update. It's crazy how it takes longer to test and incorporate features that other cfw don't have to account for, huh?

The entire debate is useless because the laws being broken don’t really affect the end user in a meaningful way.

If Nestle steals a chocolate recipe from Godiva are you going to go crazy about it? Probably not. You’ll continue eating Crunch bars as you always would have been.

They don't care about GBAtemp, yet this site (and this thread) has been infested with Team-Xecuter shills. One of whom threw a complete fit when you first removed the download link.

If hexkyz is to be believed it was left in there by accident. Try reading your own forum next time.

What does it matter if it was left in there by accident or not? The key is still illegal to distribute, whether it was left in there by accident or not.

Also, assuming that I'm reading this Tweet correctly...

an obfuscated version of the key is now being used. Maybe I'm reading that wrong, but it doesn't really matter, since, as @V-Temp pointed out, they are also using copyrighted code in other cases as well...

They don't care about GBAtemp because they have their own forum and welcome the traffic boost. Feel free to ban ALL discussion of TX and SX OS here if you're so scared. You don't need those hits, right?
Gbatemp has been doing fine since the day it started and will always be doing fine

Exactly. Making ad money from the big traffic boosts brought here by TX drama every time there is a new release. Which is why I suggest they ban discussion completely. That money is dirty.
