Please don't be disingenuous.

Atmosphere:
- install NSP
- play
Most definitely NOT my experience with Atmosphere. Gave it a fair go. Went back to SX-OS.

Games will inevitably require 7.0.x.
Yes, I agree with you on this point. When this becomes a significant issue, either 1/ SX-OS will support 7.0.x or 2/ SX-OS users will have a compelling reason to switch over to Atmosphere. We are not yet at the point where a compelling case can be made for SX-OS users to switch to Atmosphere.

  3. Drive home
  4. Rip XCI
  5. Drive to store
  6. Return game
  7. Drive home
  8. Put XCI onto SD card
  9. Play game

As you've already forgotten, I said earlier that you could just instead download the NSP.

Atmosphere:
  1. Locate source of NSP files
  2. Agonize over whether or not to trust that this won't brick your switch.
  3. Download the NSP file, hoping the uploaded to site isn't rate limited, full to quota, or otherwise unreliable.
  4. Shut down Switch
  5. Ensure you have twice the required space available as your game and patches, always.
  6. Split NSP for FAT32 installation.
  7. Put NSP onto SD card
  8. Start Switch back up, do RCM Mode, provide payload.
  9. Install NSP

The way you do things isn't very efficient, which explains why you've been tricked into using SX OS. The good news is these are the correct steps for NSP-installation on Atmosphere:
  1. Install NSP using Fluffy (no need for double space or splitting files)
  2. Play game

In this case, I'm afraid of the list will be longer for the PC itself... Go to store to buy cpu, ram, hdd .....

Oh, we're condensing and omitting acquisition method? Bravo!

I can see how you might have been tricked into self-banning your Switch by junkware like Atmosphere, but us Premium Users can still play online.

You don't have to go to the store for either CFW. I'm certain most SX users don't even use your method as there are reputable sites that have separate sections for XCIs and NSPs. It makes things rather convenient for all CFW users

We can add the acquisition method (not plural).
  1. Download NSP
  2. Install NSP
  3. Play game
Your acquisition steps are a lot more cumbersome, unfortunately.

You do using tinkle's method.

You do using tinkle's method.
Where do you get your NSPs from? Provide details. Also your patches. How do you screen for brickware? Oh gosh those are a lot of steps compared to rip XCI, play XCI, huh? Lotta risk just to play offline games.
Edit for the under-educated: This is a rhetorical question designed to prove a point. not provide sources for piracy lmao

Atmosphere actually has cal0 protection unlike that junkware you try to keep justifying for whatever reason :rofl2:
sxos users are way more likely to brick than atmos

Please do not ask where to download the games. That is against GBATemp rules. Thank you, honey.
I see you lack the proper capacity to register rhetorical questions.

Between legitimate XCI's and the ability to use EmuNAND, you couldn't be more wrong :D Try harder, hunny!

I possess the capacity to register rhetorical questions. The problem is what immediately followed the question.

Please don't explicitly ask where to download games. It is against the rules.

A person who doesn't use legitimate XCI files would, in this hypothetical scenario, be screwed using SX OS, and it wouldn't even be because of TX's old brick code.

This is the second time you've attempted to have me banned. You must really be threatened by tiny girls, huh?
