Hacking Question Captain Toad patch 1.2.0 needs 7.0.0?

Hello guys!
I tried to install the patch 2 (version 1.2.0) of Captain Toad with gold leaf and ignored the fimware requirements. After I have installed the update I can start the game. But when I select "special episode" in the game menu it tells me to download a software update. Anyone already tried to install the latest patch? Thanks in advance!

no but from experiance with other games a new patch will always require the most current fw to run they switched master keys so the disregard fw version will fail unless you provide prod.keys from 7.x then downgrade back to 6.2

I have no problem on latest atmos on 6.1.0 cfw. Just use goldleaf 0.3 and ignore fw requirements when installing it.

You also tried with Captain Toad patch 2?

ey mate same for me, the patch requires the latest update, just wait it out if you are using sx, if not then just update away and have fun !

i sort of use both, i like sx personally but having other cfws is rly nice, like if in case sx does not release support for 7.x within the next 2 months, then i'll defintely update my system and use the other cfws' until sx supports 7.x as well so that we'd be able to use it again.

oh but it says it does for me, what will happen if i ignore..? how do i ignore? cancel ? then it wont start, i believe it says you need to update to start the software soo....

I think the DLC Update needs Firmware 7.0.0, not the 1.2.0 Update (released few weeks ago). This might cause some confusions here.

All Captain Toad DLCs work just fine on 6.2

I think it's because the DLC require an update too.

If you look closely, the main DLC is v131072 since the 14th.

Mine is v131072 and it works perfectly. I'm using SX OS Emunand 6.2.

Yes, that's what I'm saying.
The DLC was pre-released the day it was announced in the ND, but it was v0.
The v131072 for both the game and DLC came out two day ago.

That's why, the update and dlc need to update to the latest version.
