1) Just follow the atmosphere guide, there's nothing special to do. Keep in mind that xci won't work with atmosphere and you need sigpatches.
2) Always update without burning fuses.
Sorry but what is the meaning of " burning fuses " i downgrade with choix and update to 7.0.1 with system update.

Without burning fuses means that you can downgrade if you ever want to. That's why you should update with ChoiDujourNX and enable autoRCM (enabled by default).

fuses are a pieces of hardware inside the switch that are literally burned every firmware update and a given number of fuses burnt identify a specific firmware version. The number of fuses burnt is checked at boot (if not boot from RCM) and if the fuses burnt does not match the firmware version, the console wont boot.
So, it is important to boot from RCM to not have that issue

If i update to the latest firmware with choixdijour, will my sysnand be erased or the update process keeps all saves and data?

Atmosphere allows to boot to latest firmware (7.0.1).
You can check that by booting EmuNAND?

I've always used SX OS,for Atmosphere I have to boot it via PC right? And download something?

Sorry I do not know how to boot in EmuNAND xD..

It keeps everything.

You can boot with a computer, smartphone or dongle (cheap to buy). You can only boot to EmuNAND if you have created one, before you updated SysNAND to 7.0.0+. Only SX OS supports EmuNAND. If you don't know what EmuNAND is and also don't know how to boot there, you probably haven't created one...

Maybe I'm wrong, but I remember In SX OS booting menu I typed "creating emunand" or something like that xD but i may be wrong so..

Think i'll go with Atmosphere then :)

Enter RCM to access the SX OS menu and boot EmuNAND (Check if there's the text "EmuNAND enabled" above "Booting CFW").

I've got a strange issue with my switch. My switch is on 5.0.1 and whenever I try and turn it on it doesn't do anything. Its just a black screen with no backlight, I don't have autorcm on etiher. I can boot it into rcm mode and push payloads fine. It will also boot custom fw but whenever I try and turn it on normally it doesnt work. I can also boot stock using hekate with a stock config in the ini.

I don't know what's going on with it any help?

Did you downgrade earlier?

can someone please teach me how to install XCI games ? I really don't get how it works
Use either ZeroTwoXCI (which only works with ReiNX) or n1dus. Both require keys to install .XCI files which you can obtain with Lockpick (they mention kezplez but kezplez is highly outdated).
