No, they can not. That's the whole issue everyone is talking about. The payload containing the logo is encrypted and signed, unless they figure out the keys to decrypt it themselves, they won't be able to change the logo.

I hope they will add support for the 7.x firmware soon. I'm really not into using a fiddling solution like Atmosphere & co.
On the other hand, they can take their time to finish a product that is polished compliant with their quality assurance.

No, the splashscreen thing is real. It's embedded in sept. Either they use sept and reveal to every user they are taking everything from Atmosphere + the annoyance of 2 splashes or they figure the exploit out by themselves. I doubt they will. They will try to find someone who sells/leaks it to them.

You can't really tell if it's true. They could have simply abandoned SX OS.

I know TX takes a lot of "inspiration" from Atmosphere and its developers, but its been quite a while now since Nintendo dropped the 7.0.0 update and we haven't seen anything at all regarding SXOS being even near to support it... last thing we got was a "hot fix" to make EmuNAND 6.2 great again.

What are they doing? Wen will they drop the next update? Do we have to wait for Atmosphere to be done and add support for 7.0.0 in order to get it for SX OS?

i heard SciresM and co. took some extra effort to implement some precautions to prevent certain Money leeches to reverse engineer their codes, basically they are making impossible life for leechers.
known there are two ways to obtain the TX os for 7.0.1 support:

1) pay 10k dollars to buy atmosphere's source codes.
2) hire some other talented hacked to hack Scires' codes (sounds funny huh )

It’s going to be quite amusing watching sxos boot with the atmosphere logo.

Tested it with converted hekate to boot.dat, on the 5th injection the battery drained completly

It is. The only way to obtain keys on 7.0 so far is by using a signed package using NVIDIA's official PRIVATE keys. The TSEC part of the switch has not been pwned publicly as of now. Only SciresM has a way to obtains these and sign the code through a private exploit.
That's why you can recompile the sept code all you want but you still can not sign it. So say hello to the splash screen.

It's only a minor nag for TX though. If SciresM wanted to play it hard he could make it boot Atmosphere exclusively lol.

Why are they ashamed? Games that use Unity or Unreal engine displayed their logos when loading. Since Xecuter uses the Atmosphere engine then they should display the logo.

It would be an admission that you can get most of the same stuff elsewhere for free.

That's the real reason for them refusing to credit IMO. Probably doesn't matter to most posters here who know exactly what SXOS is and what other CFW are, but there's money to be made on the ignorant masses that don't even know that they have a choice of CFW or don't understand that 90% of what they think they bought is free software. (I know people here are aware they are basically buying an XCI loader + a few features, that isn't as good a sell to the masses as claiming you have created THE full solution.)

Well, there are two possible outcomes. They release it with atmo splash screen and being crushed (suddenly leave the scene is the same effect). Or released it without (same if on their own or cracked his) and crashed his reputation. Clash of the titans, it is very exciting. Unfourtunatly it will be as allways the third option, released so after (and have time to figured out) so none of the above will matter.
