Hi, do you like programming, or just use other people's homebrews in awe? I do the latter, I hope you enjoy your time here : D
I am currently learning java in school(ca 1/2 year of experience) and I am using other people's homebrew, but when I'm better at programming, I wanna contribute to the homebrew development myself.

Nice!
Nice to meet others programmers here.

As far as I know, Java isn't very useful for homebrew. Normally I see persons using C language, unfortunately.

Well... Yeah. But it are very different languages. It is like "if you learn how to speak English will become easier to learn Russian".
Java is "a little" object oriented/procedural language, while C is just a procedural, and it has concepts that Java doesn't explore, like arithmetic of pointers.
I recommend not mixing the two things, because it could get worse your learning.

Moreover, good luck! I hope see your homebrew and rom hacking here ~~

Yeah, that's true... But I am still young, so I don't think I'll get major learning issues considering I got experience with NXC (C for the Lego Mindstorms). And C++ is object oriented, so...
