Hardware New 2DS XL Top screen removal

So, I recently dropped my 2DS XL, and the top screen’s ribbon cable is ripped. I can’t send it in for repair, due to CFW, and I want to avoid replacing the top screen. Is there anything I can do?

  • There's a high chance of cracking the cover lens when peeling off the top LCD. Don't confused this for the bezel frame.

One of the screws (one closest to the SD card slot) got stripped, and I can’t get it out, any tips? I’ve got the screen replacement as well.

Remove stripped screws with drill bit + driver, seran wrap, bubble gum, and pliers. Specs and pictures here.
