patched systems will eventually get CFW, it may take awhile though. Devs have to think of the long term though, like ReSwitched could just release all of their exploits right now, but then Nintendo would patch them all and we wouldn’t have any exploits on future hardware revisions/software versions

You are entitled to nothing. You should have gotten a unpatched Switch while the chance was available, rather than whining about the wait now. Hell, almost every used Switch sold is unpatched, go buy a used system if you really want to pirate.

I know I'm entitled to nothing. Sorry if you think my whining is annoying but that was not my intention. This switch was only given to me and I was struggling to find updates or progress for patched switches. That is the reason I made this thread.

It's a patched Switch, so ChoiDujourNX doesn't work without RCM injection.

i bought a 2nd switch for myself so gf could use it again after scoping out the scene progress in november. I was regularly checking craigslist and in the midst of errand shopping one day i find a guy selling a couple blocks away, 10006 serial, but i didn't have injector and he said he only had 5 mins, hadn't prepared to use rekado or anything yet either.

was pretty pissed about that. I'm unsure whether to try selling this very cheaply (~200 or less) with 3-4 games incl zelda, shipping it to nintendo for repairs (dont know how that would work) or just finding some kid that doesn't have many things to play that would appreciate it.

then i walk into local walmart, and they have like 15 switches behind the front displays with xaw1005/6 serials so i snagged one of those to my delight.
It hasn't been mentioned enough. check local supplies, or suburbs, and get one while you still can, however you can

As said, I have one patched and one unpatched... I’m going to grab another unpatched tablet only as a backup but if you got a patched unit, swap it, traid it, put it away and buy another if you can but there will be a long wait as no one is going to burn there exploits at the moment!

I read that teamxecuter will realease the hack for patch units before july 2019 , but the current jig and donlge are not goign to be usefull .
So you will need to buy a diffrent dongle for patch units .

99% the new hack is rop exploit that I’m near certain it will be done through the browser so it won’t need a jig etc!

As i see the situation is like this. Deja vu chain was first but with rmc giving more access have been prioritized and cfw made. After the patched switches been released deja vu again went into development and receive possibility for cfw but not yet released. Because now there is the new rumored mariko revision. Wich thоugh almost centainly will patch all links along the chain so no actual reason to hold it back. More probably there is pressure from N as if released before the new revision it will hurt mariko sales. But if hold it just long enough most peaple will give up on the hacking, it's a way of protection. To state my opinion on hacking consoles, i think in relative limited spreading it is quite healthy for the systems as brings down a company arrogancy and continue the support after end of life. So feel free to dis/agree that it's just an opinion

Better not be, we need a Switch XL for adult-sized hands. Not a smaller one for midgets.

If nintendo messed up with dates promising a Metroid new game and push it back ( and Nintendo have millions $$$$ )
I think xecuter can delay on their promises as well
