I’ve combed through the entire thread but would like a straight answer if possible. From what I’ve read through the entire thread it seems some say do it this way some say do it that way.
Can I just take the next core from the nightly and use it on the official Retroarch release by putting it in the cores folder or do I also need the nro?
If it requires the nro to accompany it am I correct in assuming that I may as well just run the entire nightly and archive the official release for now?
Thanks for any information anyone is able to provide. I understand I can just run the entire nightly but just want to know if I can just mix the next core into the official release and if it requires the nightly nro.
