Getting the same crash.Anyone else getting “The software was closed because an error occurred." using this? I know it can happen if you run via album but I'm running via the installed RetroArch NSP.
try deleting your cfg file and restart retroarchSame deal, unfortunately.
I should've mentioned, it boots fine the first time. It only force closes after I changed the core option to dynarec and restart it. Then it crashes every time I try and load the core. I've checked the .cfg file and it still has mupen64plus-cpucore = "cached_interpreter" set.
If I move back to a previous nro, everything works fine again.
did you install the core to a non standard location?Same deal, unfortunately.

Yea don't mind compability issues just yet.Yeah, think you're right on the ROM aspect.
OOT works fine, VPW2 and No Mercy don't but those two are the same engine so that'll explain it.
any recommended settings?
star fox crash for me after two levels
Guys I have always "failed to load content" with the new mupen64... any hint about that problem ?
Well I always get that error, I am not able to load any n64 game even with pre-loading core at the beginning... any hint ?I noticed that when switching games I’d get that error too if I didn’t reload the core each time.
dont say that, im so happy it isnt a garbled mess
Like it was said before, it WON'T WORK through the album applet because there is not enough RAM available. Either install the NSP or use title takeover (like you did). You need to also copy the settings from the included txt to the retroarch-core-options.cfg in the /retroarch/ folder and then set the aspect ratio to 4:3 in the core options (open the quick menu while in-game -> settings, needs a restart). Threaded video should be on I think (I have it on and I don't think Mupen will even run without it ).
You need to copy the contents of the file, so just open it, copy everything and paste it at the end of the retroarch-core-options.cfg.how do I copy the settings from the included txt to the retroarch-core-options.cfg in the /retroarch/ folder
