Hacking CFW 4.82 to 4.83

is there is a decent cfw 4.83 and is it worth updating as i dont want my ps3 to be accidently updated to ofw as i cant find rebug 4.83.

My guess the reason Rebug hasn't made a 4.83cfw b/c theres nothing special about it I'd stick to their 4.82 for reliability sake

ferrox im not sure if its stable and my backups will keep on working. main concern if someone updates it by accident

unfortunately, since you updated to 4.83 ofw, you're going to need a hard flasher or else wait.

Yeah, that's what I meant. The PS3 that I used to have wasn't CFW compatible so I sold it and got a Slim that is. I jailbroke my PS3 with CFW on 4.82 the day before 4.83 dropped, but since I sold my old PS3 I didn't have my downloads. I used SEN Enabler on 4.82 to get on PSN and get my downloads after 4.83 dropped.

REBUG won't make a new CFW until they can get their hands on a dev firmware so they can make a REX version. Updating from 4.82 REBUG REX to a regular 4.83 CFW would be a backwards step.
