Not sure I understand the comment. I first backed up my switch before I did the save file edits. I used Checkpoint to push those modded game saves back and they did work when I tested them on CFW but offline. Why I created a non season character so I could test it while being offline. I then restore my switch back to OFW. All the changes I modded in the game saves are now gone and it's back to normal. So how are people running modded game files on OFW? Or are they not and just running CFW with modded game saves while online (heavily risking a ban)? Or is there a way to get your modded game files imported into your OFW?

I found a possible procedure in another thread:

I did it this way:
  • Backed up save from hacked console with Checkpoint
  • Put legit console in flight mode
  • Take NAND backup
  • Boot into CFW and restore save(s) with Checkpoint
  • Take another NAND backup
  • Open the save-injected NAND backup with hacdiskmount
  • Copy the specific (console signed) save files for the games I want (I didn't copy them all)
  • Open the original NAND backup with hacdiskmount
  • Overwrite the existing saves with the new ones
  • Restore the original NAND backup, which is essentially the same, except for the 1 or 2 save files you've replaced.
There should be no evidence that CFW was ever run, as it never was under the original NAND backup.

No files should have changed except for the save files you replaced, which are properly signed by your console/Horizon.

So it sounds like you have to take a NAND backup of your OFW and then save another NAND backup after you save your game files back with Checkpoint. Then use hacdiskmount to read the NAND-CFW backup and pull out the save files and then open the OFW backup and put those save files into it. Then restore your OFW backup with the modded save files back onto the Switch... I haven't tried it yet. I just figured out how to dump the keys and now I'm trying to figure out how to use hacdiskmount program. So far it's not liking my keys when trying to decrypt the nand....

Let me know if you figured it out. Want to do the same.

Is it possible ot edit the level of the Gem of Ease? I want to start a new Character with it but adding it by ID adds it at level 0 and thus renders it unusable.

Not sure if this could help with people trying to make a legit build, but I got bored at work (well, procrastinating, but you get the point) so I made this:

Saint's Diablo 3 Equipment Primary Stat Priority List (Season 15)

Far from being perfect, and it probably has tons of misspellings and very few value mistakes (I double checked, but I'm old so yeah), but it would be a good base for people editing their sets into "Legit" builds.
If there are mistakes kindly tell me. Cheers!

Hey I'm trying to use this but I can't seem to add anything to my characters inventory. Any pointers on what I'm doing wrong? I'm not seeing any buttons to add items, and right clicking on the item list does nothing.

At the very 1st row of the item list where all the existing items are there should be an "ADD ITEM" or "NEW ITEM" on it. Can't check right now for the exact term cause I'm at work, but you'll know when you see it.

Nope, there's no buttons whatsoever. Latest D3Edit, latest python 3 installed just to use this tool.

It's not a button, it's included in the list of items, then you need to edit it or something then save it.
Just checked for that too. Yeah, nothing like that at all. At most, I have an unknown item, but clicking does absolutely nothing.

Gonna try uninstalling python and reinstall it. Might be weird because I installed to my D drive.

Are you using the latest version? The one from here: https://github.com/unixtreme/D3Edit (using the green clone or download button) and not in the releases tab.
I got it from the releases tab. I'll try that now.

There we go, this worked. Cheers mate, now to slay some demons (but not on my phone).

Oh, one last thing, where would I get a list of item id's? (I see it's not a stereotypical dropdown menu).

If there was they would all be added in already!! I can extract them from the gamefiles but it will take me a lot of work to figure out exactly how they packed the cpk files.
For now if you want to see whatever is already in the database you can open the file called "local.db" using something like https://sqlitebrowser.org/ it's pretty nice and you have a search option to search for whatever item, example:

I have ideas to improve the add item functionality for now this was rushed just to have some way to add items easily. There's some reasons why I don't just add all the items as options and a search option and it's that most of them won't work until I make some changes, so until then the "add by ID" feature is considered experimental and kind of a "fun" thing to do more than anything.

I think he explains it much better than I can.

Hello guys, I'm currently testing some solution about heroes savings problem. Actually I've ran cfw, started a new game with a new hero, get 20 minutes into the game just to be sure ho have something to save, backup the game with checkpoint and this is the current situation on the sd card. I've tried with airplane mode ON and also OFF but seems that checkpoint doesn't save any heroes.

Has someone got the same issue?
Thanks
