TX as usual is listening to user feedback and requests, and here it is LAN-PLAY Support is now included in SX OS v2.5 BETA, enjoy! :)
Another day, another release!

Your friends from Team Xecuter are back with a fresh release of your beloved SX OS. This new v2.5 beta release introduces two exciting new functionalities that you all have been requesting.

Let's waste no time on chit-chat, and see what's new in this release:
  • Fixed sleepmode in case of fuse mismatch
Sleep/standby mode would break when your emuNAND was on a different firmware version than your actual system NAND. This has been resolved now. So from now on you can run the latest and greatest firmware in emuNAND while at the same time keeping a lower firmware on your original system's NAND. Nifty!
  • Added initial support for "Internet Local Wireless Play"
Many of you have been requesting for us to add support for "local wireless play" tunneling over the internet. We have integrated this functionality into SX OS for you. This currently requires you to use a bit of software, LAN-Play on a computer to facilitate the tunneling. This software can be downloaded from the LAN-Play website: www.LAN-PLAY.com. Check out their project, they are are doing an amazing job. To enable "Internet Local Wireless Play" simply head into the SX Menu and head over to the "options" page. There's a toggle for enabling and disabling this functionality at will now.
That's all for today. This marks the half-way point of SX OS 2. This year has been amazing and we want to thank the loyal and ever growing TX Switch user community, you guys are the reason this is all possible!
Our resident hard- and software wizards are hard at work at bringing you even more groundbreaking functionality and products. Keep an eye on us!

(As usual, please remember all our latest releases & apps, can be found on our sx.xecuter.com portal website)

SX is only good for XCIs, for the few dinosaurs who need those for whatever reason, and emunand.

I haven't messed with my Switch for a while so I know I've missed some stuff. Can you install NSPs to USB devices now? If not your comment questioning why somebody would use XCIs is kinda dumb. Even before USB Loading XCIs were nice because it was easier to swap games when your microSD becomes full.

Also, SX is easier to use/update (allbeit slight) and is a more cohesive, polished experience. I understand SX OS lacks some features that other firmwares have but it does what I, and I imagine most users, want it to do. Plays pirated games.

We finally getting the emunand to a practical point. For now we don't need 6.x but it's good to know that we can keep a <5.x sysnand and get a emunand on the highest fw without drawbacks

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

And we'll at least they gave someone credit for something. It's TX so no surprise there that they copy what the community develops. Most people who brows gbatemp know that anyways.

layeredfs works for me.

For custom themes it is ok, but for some game mods it is not, team is looking into why there is a problem, no eta on fix, but its being looked into and they are testing out some various game mods to be sure its fixed. :)

That's like 99% credits right there. They are getting better.
Just noticed that they forget CTCaer on the fuse bug. Oh TX, getting worse again.

Please. PLEASE search for another hobby instead of sitting the whole day here while waiting for another thread about TX. You're just annoying!

I heard some companies test their software before release.

you do know that this is 'beta' release. -- and also you can't test everything, plus its weird bug since custom themes work, and other game mods, its not easy one to track down, since also no changes were made in that area.
