Actually on second thought this is too hard. Just easier to buy the games instead of hacking it.
Putting a $2 plastic jig into the right joycon rail, pressing a key combo, and then plugging it into a computer and pushing a payload is not difficult. If you think it's difficult you are likely new to the console hacking scene. Cause this is one of the easiest coldboot exploits to run

Nope, all those games launch perfectly fine on 5.1

I was unable to launch both Starlink and Zarvot after installing the NSPs of them using Tinfoil. When I tried to launch them, it said a newer FW update was necessary. I was on 5.1 using the most recent ReiNX. I then updated to 6.0.1 using ChoiDuJour. Both then launched without problem. I changed nothing else.

I don't know what else to tell you.

A firmware update or game update? Because I know Starlink has a day 1 game update.

I installed the nsp for the game and the update for Starlink. For Zarvot I just installed the game nsp. AFAIK there isn't an update for Zarvot.

Both behaved the same way: they wouldn't launch unless I updated the system, then they launched fine after I updated the system.

Hey guys, I have a question about saved games.
Where are they stored?
If I instal a game on NAND or SD, will my saved games location change according to installation dir?

They are saved in the NAND all the time, at this moment you can access them with homebrews like Edizon or Checkpoint

Stupid question incoming! Can playing Resident Evil 7 stream version in SX OS stealth mode result in a ban - are you streaming from CAPCOM or Nintendo servers? If it is CAPCOM, are their servers somehow associated with Nintendo's so they can find out you don't own the game and ban you?

If my console is in sleep mode, can I switch SDs with different installed games and run them? Or will it throw an error?

Does anyone know a cheap and reliable site to buy a jig from? I'd prefer something that ships from Europe. Any recommendations?

So I was able to successfully install and launch Dark Souls on firmware 5.0 meaning it uses the 5.X masterkey so I know it does not require firmware 6.0. However when the game launched, it didn't detect any network settings (because I was in Airplane Mode) but I was able to continue the game in offline mode. So you probably had the console connected to the Internet and/or downloaded the system update which prevented you from playing the game.

All games go through Nintendo's servers first to verify if you are not banned or not so we can't bypass bans that way, even if the games themselves don't use Nintendo's servers to enable online play such as Fortnite.

Sleep mode counts as the console being on so it will be like removing the SD card while the console is on.

Have you tried eBay and seeing if there were any resellers close to your country?

9 times out of 10, the answer would be yes unless you installed them without tickets & they were installed to the SD card.
ah okay, that means better delete them before I restore it then since I'm gonna reinstall them anyway
that goes for DLCs too right?

Yes because DLC use personalized tickets unlike the common tickets for updates although I've never tried rebuilding a DLC without the ticket and seeing what would happen.
