After 17 months, the critically-acclaimed action-adventure game Alan Wake has been restored to digital storefronts. It was taken down on May 15, 2017 due to expiring music licenses which publisher Microsoft has renegotiated. It is currently available on Steam and GOG.com and is expected to be restored to the Xbox 360 marketplace soon.

I'm thinking that it probably had an impact, but now that the game's back on storefronts some of the people that pirated the game might purchase it now that it's back.

Especially at the price of 3 dollars . I plan to grab a copy once I get back home.

I bought it on X360 when it first came out and was really keen to play it... unfortunately it released at a time last gen when there was a huge number of great titles releasing, and it always kept slipping down in my backlog.
Fast forward 8 yrs - I still own it, and am still yet to play it! ...I even bought the DLC too
