Yeah.. I think this is just more GS greed, instead of some grand conspiracy. Heck.. With the Pokemon and Diablo3 special editions coming out, I know several non-hackers who will jump at this chance, just because they like those designs.

They're not collecting them for nintendo, they're collecting them for themselves. Trade ins are subject to manager's approval. I'm sure he's checking to see which are exploitable just as an added bonus. The more exploitable switches they can have in stock the better the sales will be in the long run when more and more people start trying to hack their consoles and learn they need to have a specific older model. Which is when buying a used switch from gamestop will come to their mind and they'll happily pay 275 dollars for it. At least this is my conspiracy theory.

No way in hell I would buy a gamestop system. I couldn't tell you how many gamestop 360's customers brought me with shitty rrod fixes and ps3's packed with thermal paste like they used a whole damn tube. Whoever does their repairs should be fired.
