Did you set a boot slot up?im not sure why, but whenever I start the ds up, the fastboot menu appears, telling me that i have no boot files when boot.firm is on the sd card. To run boot.firm, i have to enter "boot from file' and select boot.firm from there
Does any error show up? What option are you picking?I tried, but it wont let me.
Huh? This doesn't seem correct at all. Did you follow the instruction on their GitHub? https://github.com/derrekr/fastboot3DS#quick-start-guideI tried, but it wont let me.

You set the first bootslot to autoboot, disabled the other bootslots (if needed) and set it to quiet mode? The first one.
