Almost perfect 3000 mah battery mod

This is a 3.7volt lithium polymer battery. Ive burnt into the wii u pad to modify some space...got very close to some wires so didnt go further. But look at the results, and the nerf casing holds it like a lid.i wrapped the battery itself in electric tape and then used regular tap to make sure it dont slide around. After holding it in my hands i realized i dont even feel the lump because its in the middle where my fingers dont reach 20181013_002027.jpg

UPDATE, I PERFECTED IT WAS KINDA RISKY. So after i inserted battery wii u controller wouldn't turn on so i noticed it got disconnected and the white tape wire also had a small cut across it. I put electric tape over it, and opened the lid at the connector...had to solder out more plastic to reach it, then stuck wire back on and closed lid. It worked after that. P.S the way to do a cleaner job would be to get the screw driver, remove the whole bottom plastic(even though i took 1/3 off), and follow the solder pictures. my battery is on a very slight slant, but there is no pressure put on it due to the extra open, its not gonna slide anywhere, and in my option the battery has air flow. I covered the whole battery in electric tap because i had it in my psp prior, i did order a new but couldnt wait and i noticed some white stuff on bottom, came off the battery. I then realized all batteries have a sticker skin on them, but am not sure how itll affect it now.

is a psp battery mod i followed, i then noticed the wii u is also a 3.7v. The chip is from an official wii u battery, ive heard stories where the other wires arnt as good quailty, but for the soldering part its basically a postive and negative end..if you look at the chip youll see one side is closer to the red wire(of the 5 wires) and the other side has black, you need the solder metal to fuse wires on battery to chip.
3.7V 3000 mAh Polymer Li battery LiPo For GPS iPAQ Power bank Tablet PC 6050105 is the name of battery, bought on ebay from china.

Does the Wii U have a battery? I though it needed to be plugged in. Having a Wii U on battery would be cool.

Yes and no. The actually wii u is plugged in with no battery, the wii u pad/controller thats comes with it is battery powered. Its a big problem if you dont have this pad, as most games require it. Also the other problem is you basically cant find wii u in stores anymore, no new games, no new batteries. So unless you mod like this, you wont get more than 3 hours out of the current batteries avabile. This battery gave me 7 hours on psp, i would assume same on wii u pad

Oh yeah the gamepad, Nintendo sold high capacity batteries on their website, dunno if those or the psp batteries last longer.

Cool, but I will stick to my 140$ scalped official 2550 battery off of eBay since it fits perfectly as Nintendo intended when they designed the battery compartment.

If i had the special screw driver to open it up i would look at the space around it. There seems to be enough space to fit the battery perfect and close lid, but you need cut or melt plastic off

Yea. Turning off sound and rumble also increases battery life. When im playing zelda hyule force, the screen just shows the health of others, no reason to have screen bright or sound can turn it to 1 and then battery should last 8 hours plus

This is only for the standard capacity battery, the official extended battery is twice the physical size and orientated sideways. It was well worth the $35 I paid almost a year ago. On average, I got about 6-7 hours from this battery. Unfortunately, it is no longer offered on the nintendo store. Is it possible it is still offered on the Japanese nintendo store?

I was replying to the op, he stated that the Wii U was out of production, no new games, no new batteries. Nintendo still sells new batteries. Battery capacity was not mentioned in that statement.

seems i need a triwing screw, the tear down shows me its safe to remove more plastic, letting me fit battery and closing lid. Just gotta find this screwdriver

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

According to this vid, i can melt the space on the left side safely and let the battery slide into that space

I also bought a side ways battery, but i only got like 4 or 5 hours out of it before red light appears. I guess its between 1800 to 2200 mah, while the oem is 2550

You should update the 360 to newest dash before RGHing it yes. But not a big deal if you don't, you can install new dash/avatar updates after. It's just easier to do it auto online before, instead manual offline after.

@BigOnYa I wanted to ask you about your experience with seeing south park. Most of the people a bit younger like my younger brother and cousins that are a few younger than me that saw kids found south park funny because of the curse words, kids at school, that seemed like liking the show on a very basic level.

I could not quite have a in depth discussion of the show.

How was it for you? As an adult. What did you find the most interesting part about it. Did you relate to the parents of the kids and their situations. Was it satires, the commentary on society. The references on celebrities' and pop culture.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I remember seeing the very first episode back in the day, and have watched every episode since. I used to set my VCR to record them even, shows how long ago.

I just like any comedies really, and cartoons have always been a favorite of mine. Family guy, American Dad, Futurama, Cleveland Show, Simpsons - I like them all.

South Park is great cause they always touch on relavent issues going on today, and make something funny out of it.
