I noticed my roms (snes, nes, etc) is all on the SD card while my GCube and Wii games are on the external Drive, is it possible to run the legacy games off of the external instead of storing it on the sd Card?

yes. drag & drop your sd card content to computer desktop. plug your external into computer. drag & drop those files onto your external hd. just run everything off external after plugging it back in Wii. keep sd card out. if you need sd for BOR or something else, unplug ExHD. Never have both SD & HDD run "plugged in" together.

that said, you'll have to most likely change rom path for nes, snes etc. through emulator settings. Or you can just fresh install emulators on your HDD. The sd card is good for few things aside from Homebrew install & Guitar Hero dlc

usb is plugged in bottom slot?
have u made any progress? the usb slot is a old problem. disregard if you are using up to date emus. folder not found is the normal error at emulator startup when changing directories. usb not found is another avenue. one i have not encountered running everything on FAT format. Some info would be useful on your side to help with your problem. Are you using Fat Partition? HDD size & make? Emulators up to date, versions. Ill help out as much as possible.
