I'm trying to find a cheat code for Dead Cells myself but the scan never seems to complete, it just stops at about 95%. Am I just being impatient (it took longer than 5 minutes each time I tried) or is it because I am using an exFAT card?

Not even Edizon got any and I've been stuck at the final battle for so long and way too lazy to restart the game at an easier difficulty

Replace XX with how much HP you want. Until Team Xecuter adds the ability to write a register to an address this is the best I can do without also changing your Max HP. (XX is in hexadecimal, so take a value between 1-99 and convert it to hexadecimal first [0x00 - 0x63])

It's fine, you have a different Title ID. Mine was the US version, yours the EU version?

I had the same problem too. But when I switched to fat32 it completes and doesn’t crash.

Here is a simple guide to perform a very simple value modification.
This method is best suited to perform a one time cheat on large number, example: money or exp.

Note:
This cheat only applies once. Once the value has been modified, perform a game save so that the value will be saved.

Steps:
1. Run the game of your choice.
2. Prepare the value that you want to cheat. If you want to cheat on Money, try to earn a bit on it so you can search for it easily.
3. Note down the value of your money, example, let's say your current money is 62543.
4. Go to any dec to hex website and convert those decimal into HEX, in my example, it would be: 0000F44F
Note: you can use this site: https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/number/decimal-to-hex.html

5. Open SX cheat menu, perform new search on 32 bit signed (game uses this format to store money, most of the time).
6. Once done, perform next search: with "Exact value" and enter the converted hex value from step 4, example: 0000F44F
7. If you have more than 2 results, go back to your game and spend/earn some money.
8. Go back to step 3.

Do step 3 to 8 until you got 2 results left.

9. Select either one, if you got 1 "Main" and 1 "Heap" listed, try the "Main" one first.
10. RAM editor will be shown for the selected address. The HEX value that you searched will be listed "BACKWARD"
Example for my case, I would look for: .. .. .. .. .. .. 4F F4 00 00
11. Go back to your hex to decimal converter, pick a new value you want to key in.
For me, I set my money to 962543. (I just added '9' in front). The Hex value would be: 000EAFEF

12. Enter the new HEX value into the address that is shown in RAM editor, earlier.
The old value .. .. .. .. .. .. 4F F4 00 00
I changed it into .. .. .. .. .. .. EF AF 0E 00

13. Go back to your game and see if the value is changed.
If not, go back to step 9 and select the other address and repeat steps 10 to 12.


I hope this helps, at least to those who just want to cheat the Money value and make the game slightly less "grindy".

Hurrah, got it working now, managed to increase my health in Dead Cells to a ridiculous amount. It gets reset when you get any modifiers, but it's a start.

Also managed to increase the amount of money. Next, souls and multipliers

[update] OK, souls was startlingly easy to find.

Just play through the level until you get to the shop. You should have a few souls. Search for the exact number of souls using a 32bit signed search.
Spend 1 soul, repeat. In 3 steps you'll find the figure. I now have 16 million souls

Yes, but if you do it at the first shop you only have about 5 or 6 anyway.

it could depend on the write speed of your microsd, look at the bytes that is currently dumping, if it is a huge number then it will take at least few mins

that MegaMan 11 is a Heap address, are you sure that one works?

Is this cheat tool powerful enough to find the Pointer address? Since most games have DMA.

at this time i don't think so but i believe an update to this tool would fix that. right now i think this tool is good for finding personal temporary (during current play session) codes.
