PROBLEM SOLVED

SOLVED
Hello! I'm new to this whole thing and I don't really know whats happening.
I recently followed a guide, and I downloaded a VC game for Wii U using the "Wii U USB Helper" application, and I have it transferred over to my SD Card. I then opened up my WUP Installer GX2 app that I downloaded from the Homebrew Appstore and then proceeded to install Starfox 64. I then got this exact message.

"Verify WUP files are correct & complete. DLC/E-shop require Sig Patch"

Now, I tried googling the issue, and I see a lot of responses saying, run Mocha CFW or use Haxchi, and I don't even know what those are and I don't have either of them. I homebrewed my Wii U by simply following Jack Sorrells video, where you download a file, put it in an SD Card, open loadiine.ovh and run it (using the 5.5.2 firmware). It took about 5 minutes.

Anyways, I just want to know if there's a fix to this error message. I'm simply just trying to install this game. If there's just someway someone could help me, that would be super neat.

Thank you!!!

Yoi need to use a cfw like mocha/haxchi to install and play any dlc/Eshop title there is no other way to do it.
How do I do that? Do I install it straight from the Homebrew App store? They're both in there (Mocha CFW and Haxchi). Or do I have to do it another way?

Ok. Well I decided to open on HBL, and go to the Homebrew Appstore. I then Downloaded Mocha CFW, then ran it, then went back to HBL, opened up WUP Installer GX2, and successfully installed Starfox 64!

I just don't understand why you need one of those 2 softwares, but in the end I guess it worked. I actually tested it out too!

I appreciate the help and mentioning that I needed to install it. Is there any guide on how to actually use Mocha CFW? I just opened it, then somehow exited, and it went back to the HBL menu, then I went to install my game. I just don't understand anything of whats happening and I'd like to learn. Is there a guide on how these applications work?

Thanks for all of the help so far!

EDIT: I tried reading some of the description to Mocha and Haxchi, but its just still so confusing for me.

NEW ISSUE:

Now, I realize when I install Virtual Console content, the only way to play them is to boot up CFW (I use Mocha), which requires opening the HBC, requiring internet. What if I'm in a situation where I don't have internet access, but still want to play these games that require CFW to be activated?

Is there a way for Mocha to boot up on start? Or for me to be able to access the HBC offline? I'm of course on firmware 5.5.2. Please let me know and thank you!

Self-hosting the webexploit is one solution, or buy Haxchi for a smoother access to homebrew

Oh OK cool. Is this dangerous? Will I land in a full brick situation?
its only dangerous if you dont follow the basic rules of CBHC dont format your system .. dont delete the DS game in which you installed CBHC with ....or Delete the profile who made it .. apart these basic rules its very safe

As in going to the settings & deleting everything on your system to wipe it... To re sale.... You would have to Uninstall CBHC 1st... Or it will brick ( its not like you would do it anyway).. I love my wii U gets more play time than my switch & ps4 pro recently... I'm a complete fan of Nintendo games oh.. IMPORTANT.. If you installed HAXCHI... PUT THAT ICON INTO A FOLDER & NEVER TOUCH IT AGAIN EVER I put it at the end on my wii U menu in a folder called never touch.. ( I have kids)

Yes that is the best way but to set up haxchi they are still going to need mocha to install haxchi to the ds game.

You don't need mocha to install haxchi. You just need to buy a compatible DS game. Once it's installed, run it to verify that it works. Download haxchi and extract it to you wiiu/apps folder. Also make sure that the DS game is on the Wii U's nand and not on an external HDD. Run haxchi from homebrew and it should see the game. Once it's installed, you'll have to run the DS game prior to installing/running DLC/EShop games.

OK, so I've bought the DS Game Brain Age, and I did the Haxchi exploit. I have Haxchi perfectly working on my system, once I start it up, it takes me straight to Homebrew.

Now the issue is, I want to get CBHC, but I need to understand what to do now. I have the Haxchi exploit working perfectly. To access CFW games, I still need to open up Haxchi to get to Homebrew, then proceed by opening up Mocha, but I don't want to do that. I want to just boot up being able to do whatever I please.

I'm also wondering, why cant I touch the Haxchi app if I choose to get CBHC

im not exactly sure BUT I KNOW ITS BAD NEWS so just dont do it brother !!! stick it in a folder and never touch it again EVER ~~!!!~~!!!~~~
But since you have Haxchi ..its completely up to you both work and do the same job .. i simply just liked CBHC more as i was playing a lot of Gamecube games and the load time is much faster as they reboot the whole system when you close them .. i absolutely hated the web exploit way as it was not working half the time
