Well if it were me, I wouldn't mind it. If the screen is functionally okay at displaying the current image, and it doesn't seem to get worse. Than I would say it's fine. But maybe that's just me, what do i know lol. However, I highly suggest you don't repair the top screen as usually it ends up doing more harm than good iirc when the new2ds first launched.
Annoys me, it was sooo beautiful before. I have another n3dsxl but I couldn’t pass this one up for 40 with a copy of Drone Tactics.
It really was fine till I guess I broke it. Hopefully it’s liquid damage that goes away. I was wondering if anyone else had seen this before on a screen.
I’m not sure how, but I used a small bit of alcohol on both screens with a cotton ball. And all over the console.
If you peeled the sticker off from exactly where the hot spot corresponds on that LCD screen, what you did was damage and distort the plastic film that evenly spreads the back lighting. There's no way to fix this because that film has permanently deformed from excessive pressure.
Coupled with the terrible N2DSXL top lid build quality and the awful sales person who put the sticker at such a delicate area in the first place, you got the shit end not knowing your cleaning would lead to this.

Update guys, left it out open overnight and it seems to be dissapating some. Apparently these 2ds allow a small amount of liquid to enter extremely easy. Sorry to pester everyone with my freak out.
