ROM Hack Discussion Octopath Traveler Save Editing

I have no idea what I did, but all when I go to Edizon, it says that I have no saves in Octopath Traveler anymore. I edited a few things already in the game using it, and made backups before hand. However not only are the saves gone from the editor, so are the backups. Yet when I go into the game, everything is there and perfectly playable. I had just downloaded the 010 Editor, and was trying to figure out how to export my saves to it when I noticed that Edizon couldn't find them. Did I somehow move the saves and not notice?

If you backup in EdiZon again, do they show up?

If you use the 010 template, expand the inventory list
Scroll down to a 0: 0 entry
Expand it again and change the id and amount

When I started the game I didn't know your first pick (The protagonist) had to stay in your party until you finish their story.

It's not her, it's me. The truth is, I meet someone else and I want him to be my protagonist.

Is there a way to edit your protagonist?, or to simply remove that restriction completely?

I tried comparing a save before and after my main character chapter 4 fight
Couldn’t find a solid value to edit
I may try again or try editing active and standby party directly

that sounds like possible SD card corruption. the game stores all its save info on your switch, so the stuff you're having trouble with is all reliant on your SD card.

@BlackHeartCR I have uploaded a 010 template with MainMemberID and SubMemberID
which you can edit your main party member and sub party member.
I don't have time to test it yet, let me know if you got any result.
