the only way ppl will ever care (most) about losing online is if they get rid of the online subscription model and making online free again I almost feel like the PS4 hacking has a slightly higher fanbase than PS3 because of that

We just had a banwave happen, mine and my roomates both are eshop banned now. Both uses SX OS, but he only ever did some xci on 1.2. I also was using the eshop just fine only about 3 hours ago.

we dont know, every CFW has a big chance to be banned. The safest way is do a nand backup before you hack it, and never go online while you are using a CFW. Afther that if you want to play online you have to restore your nand backup

I greatly appreciate you reporting that your consoles were banned but is it too much to ask to fill out the form in the OP? Its just yes and no questions and shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to fill out.

Additional Comments

I never played any game online. It may have auto-connected me to online servers when booting a game. I actually got the error code dialog popup "Error Code: 2124-4007" before getting past the Minecraft (Not story mode) starting menu. I really wasn't concerned being banned though. I don't have any interest in playing online with current or future games, and I can still download updates, so I really didn't care to follow the unban protocol.

What firmware(s) were you on when you cleared error logs prior to going online? Never cleared error logs.

After reading this I now have the doubt about what "burning fuses" and "clearing error logs" mean.
My SX OS with dongle arrived a couple days ago and I've been using it just to edit a couple save files, that's all i want to do with it. I'm using 2 SD cards, 1 that's clean and the second one with the SX OS boot file and a couple .nro files to backup saves. I'm always swapping the SD cards ,so I just use the second one when I want to edit something, and after restoring the save files i go back to the clean one and OFW.

So, the question is, if I need to be aware of those things that I quoted, before going online to either update my console or any game.

Yes, you can do a dump of the pírate nand or just backup your saves

I appreciate you letting us know you were banned while you were at work. I would just prefer you to fill out the form we can better understand what you did to get banned. It doesn't have to be immediately done, just when you get some free time. The questions are simple Yes and No responses with maybe one short answer at best.

You must either use the eShop or try playing a game online. We do not have the means to check if a console is banned offline at this time.
