I'll laugh if Nintendo unbans everyone when they release the paid for online service, and then rebans them once they buy the online service, so people waste 20 dollars.Depends on how much you care about online tbh. You should also keep in mind that it will become paid for starting later this year so maybe squeeze some more life out of the free service than go off the grid come September (?)
That won’t happen nity wants to scare us with what will happen if we hackI'll laugh if Nintendo unbans everyone when they release the paid for online service, and then rebans them once they buy the online service, so people waste 20 dollars.
Why would they do that when they know that people would just buy again another switch just to play online. Another 300 bucks for them.I'll laugh if Nintendo unbans everyone when they release the paid for online service, and then rebans them once they buy the online service, so people waste 20 dollars.

I think that was "ftpd", because when you connect to ftp, in same time your switch will connect to nintendo's server for report too...You're probably right that it wasn't Mario, but it was my go-to explanation at the time. The game was my physical real cartridge played online. No dumps or no messing with certs or anything like that
As far as my other info, what you see there is exactly what I said happened. Used SX OS CFW exclusively, never booted into OFW. Used homebrew and also used it while connected to the internet (ftpd, Switch Homebrew Appstore.) Updated all my backup games via CFW. Never played a single backup game online. Never used airplane mode, and unchecked to share my info with Nintendo. Didn't mess around with any other CFWs other than SX OS. No DevMenu, no NSP installations... I kept things pretty basic

We're not sure if error reports increase the odds of a ban or not. Hypothetically, you would think it would but the only data that supports this are LayeredFS bans, not homebrew bans. The only user to have been banned for homebrew alone also cleared his error logs on 5.X which was considered unsafe and this is evidence of that.Out of curiosity, my Switch crashed while I was emulating an NES game - am I going to be banned? I was using the default CFW, not SX or anything.

Will updating game (installed from nsp files) get my cdn banned? We're not sure if error reports increase the odds of a ban or not. Guess its stupid social media as wellOMG getting banned is worst than I thought, I can't even post pictures on social media from my album!
I thought it was just the stupid Online gaming (which I could care less about).

It will definitely get you banned, it's what got me banned. Nsp install updated (over SX OS).Will updating game (installed from nsp files) get my cdn banned?
Is it cdn ban or just normal ban?It will definitely get you banned, it's what got me banned. Nsp install updated (over SX OS).
I was fine until I updated a nsp game

Console ban, no eshop, no social media posts, no nothing. Is it cdn ban or just normal ban?
