The latest news from Anime Expo comes from Spike Chunsoft. The newly opened North American branch of the company has announced a localization for the title Zanki Zero: Last Beginning, which is being written and developed by the team behind another Spike series, Danganronpa. Zanki Zero is a first-person RPG game about a group of eight survivors that have to explore mysterious dungeons to remember what their past is. Japan will be getting the game on PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 on July 15, while North America, Europe, and other English speaking territories will be able to play the game when it launches Spring 2019, for PC and PS4.

God created the world in seven days. It only took one day for humans to destroy the world. Life as we knew it sank to the depths of the sea...until yesterday. We do not yet know the broken world and the reasons left behind there. An earth where ruins drift about. Buildings, houses, light posts. Cars, traffic lights, asphalt... Modern civilization was destroyed, becoming nothing more than debris wading in the sea. New ruins drift one after the other before the protagonist, who lives on one of those decaying islands.

Not even the weebiest games are coming to the Vita now. Poor thing lasted a long, long, time without first-party. Glad that localization studios see PC as a solid platform, though.

Anyway, if it is written by the same guys behind DRV3, I might end up skipping this one, still salty over the plot, otherwise, it looks pretty interesting.
