Coldboot is what I always wanted. This is quite close to it, right?
(The only thing you need to do now is to hold power+ vol up.)

(Using SX OS as chainloader for now.)

Granted, it is not the cleanest job and I did a lot of stuff badly, But still a good accomplishment :D.

Nice work soldering all of that. How difficult was it?
It isn't difficult if you have some skill. The hardest part (not for me tho) would be when I totally destroyed USB port on the Trinket and pads with lines and had to solder to the SAMD itself. But for me, it was the cap for waking it up (look at the guide, you'll find out).

Does this also work if the switch is in docked mode?
Yes, but it won't show it on your TV, it will boot into RCM in handheld mode and then switch to TV once fully booted.
So you push power+ vol up and it will show you payload screen on the switch and then it will boot

So the dock itself doesn't interrupt fuseè and the payload delivering process?
Just asking, because there are two active devices on the same rail, the switch SoC in RCM mode anď the dock's uC.

If you just press power button, will the chip tun off completely and load directly to horizon OS?

After the payload being injected in the console, does the chip also turns off by it self?

Yes, if you won't press the volume up, you will boot straight into horizon.
After payload injection, it goes into deep sleep.

I love this, even got the M0 Trinket myself today. Unbelivable how tiny that microcontroller is.
Though I'm not gonna install it just now, because I want to wait for my replacement backplate (don't wanna damage that stock one). I wanna install a tiny switch to en-/disable the modchip (prevent unnecessary powerdrain) in the backplate. The only problem I have is the metal plate thing - I dont want to loose the cooling effects of it, nor drill/saw a portion out. Guess I'll need to find a middleway :P

The only problem with the metal plate is, that the Trinket won't fit unless you replace caps on it or make a hole in the plate.

This is what I did..Just soldered some header pins to hook A battery to the trinket so i can easily unplug it when needed. But I was thinking of going this route...battery is AAA so u can get a sense of the size..it's pretty small. Not internal coldboot but this little guy is versatile and awesome.

I saw a trinket m0 setup that this person did good. he got to keep his heat shield intact. he put wires thru the fan holes and other area.
he was able to put his clear purple back shell on. I really like his trinket m0 setup. I will try to get pic of it later.
