So let me get this straight. Even if banned, I can still redownload my previously purchased DLC with this?

You can but the content will still try to contact Nintendo's server to validate that you bought them which you cannot do while banned. You will need to wait for a CFW that bypasses this check.

The check is done only client side (OS function)?. So in theory it should be "Easy" to patch the routine out / "return true;" ?

EDIT: So with this, Signatures patched, and (if Nintendo keeps how they currently handles everything), we could get game updates & download DLC's ? Even if they ban you ?

Yes, however Nintendo can still ban you for using eXhop in the first place so as long as you accept that risk, we have Freeshop in our hands.

I have XB1 / PS4 / PC for online.
All I want it the games, updates and DLC's.

No we don't. They currently don't revoke full access on these bans, they very easily can if certs abuse this path. They 100% will revoke full CDN access as they did with Shiny and Scires' bans.

Yes, it's vulnerable, simply because there's no such thing as an invulnerable piece of hardware/software.

Right now they are also lenient. We know they can revoke full CDN access which this requires. It's really more a matter of time and abuse before they do so.

Nice, just tested this with fast RMX (a game I bought on the eShop so I'll have all the correct certificate's etc). Seems good so far, it's showing up on the home menu and is downloading

You don't need to use this to download games you own. Just click on then in your home menu.

This tool is more likely to cause you to lose full CDN access, and you don't need to use it in your case.
