Sweet, so many great games on PS1.

Plus: portable Tony hawks 2 will be dope!
Right? I'm so pumped. PS1 is the #1 console I'm looking forward to emulating on the Switch. N64 a close second!

Well I coded it, still takes some work.

Audio doesn't work. Just got it somewhat stable.
Nice job man I really appreciate you doing this. Cannot wait for a public release, you're doing awesome!!

Actually I think about dropping the core, as there are better cores for arm avaiable.

Anyway it reports to me 60 fps, but the game feels slower than it should be.

Surprised how good it runs for no GPU support

Wow it runs this smooth not utilizing the GPU? That is crazy.

Great job so far dude I think you should keep at it! Looks awesome so far would love to be playing PS1 on switch some day soon!

Well, it does feel slowed down, but gfx seem fine, but theres ghosting.

Not sure if its just the games, or how the core just renders it

Whats going on with the unloading of the map at the edge of the screen? I assume that's an on-engine issue to to being forced so wide, never intended to be that wide.

You were never supposed to see that from the developer point of view

If you do end up dropping this Beetle PSX core would you attempt PCSXrearmed? It would be good to see how much better it performs.

Thats the plan. Anyway I think this core CAN be useful, but depending on the amount of work needed, I rather fix up retroarch

Beetle PSX is definitely the better core accuracy wise but PCSX would be great to have in the short term for the quick speed boost. But your right, best to get Retroarch more stable first :)
