Yes it does, but you have to enter RCM once to set it up. There won't be any softhack way to set it up over 4.1.0.So AutoRCM doesnt work on 5.1.0?

So AutoRCM doesnt work on 5.1.0?
That isn't necessarily true though. We have a way of getting ALL firmwares to run exploited boot code.Unless you want to wait more time for homebrew or cfw, then stay on 4.1.0.

The only difference between old firmwares and newer firmwares, is how easy it is to load homebrew. The Spectre exploit makes this possible.
Atmosphere won't be limited to a firmware version when it releases, the only difference will be people past 4.1.0 will have to get it running using the hardmod RCM exploit.
Hey, my switch came with 4.1.0. Would it be a big difference (negatively) to update to 5.1.0?
Sorry, not Spectre but the ShofEL2 exploit that was found by fail0verflow. This will allow any Swich (Before the Mariko variant is released), on any Firmware to run unsigned code before bootup. Meaning that every firmware moving forward has already been bypassed, before it's even been released. Nintendo has no way of patching this until Nintendo start using a different chip. What does spectre have to do with this??? It has ZERO bearing on our ability to run Homebrew as it does not affect ARM Processors
Or ya know, it has nothing to do with an exploit per say, it's the fact that nvidia left themself a back door on all tegra chipsSorry, not Spectre but the ShofEL2 exploit that was found by fail0verflow. how can system update fix a hardware bug?Is it rue that with this new firmware you cant enter in booting mode with pin 9 and 10 ?
Simply put, it asks the JoyCon not to ground that specific pin anymore.how can system update fix a hardware bug?

Through Nintendo servers, probably not.Hi another question:
Is there a way to update the games on my switch without being on the latest firmware?
