Dang the resellers are not making much. Shipping costs a few dollars and many resellers are charging only $40

Also keep in mind the currency difference. In Canada it is much more expensive to buy due to the Canadian dollar being less than the American. Some sites show $60, which would be the Canadian price.

This is why I just bought from TX themselves, instead of a reseller. That way I know 100% of my money went to Team Xecutor. They deserve it for making a computerless RCM modchip device.

Supply and demand.
Anyone who is a bit competent does a bit of research so this PSA is completely moot in all honesty.

The unofficial resellers must turn a profit as well to continue to operate.
Nothing physical is free in this world, get used to it.

Not only are they just a reseller, they are ripping people off.

modchipsdirect seem to be the only ones selling it at the MSRP although they seem to be making a couple bucks off shipping to Canada, at 15$ it's not totally unfair. Everyone else is charging 20$ more plus I've seen over 50$ for shipping which is ridiculous. Suffice it to say, everyone should order from these guys. That is, if you are incapable of making the tools yourself.

Using your logic, one side of the formula would always fluctuate, you are incorrectly assuming they are constants. Your analogy is a non-sequitur.

The US dollar is 1.3 times that of the CDN dollar, I am paying more than I would have paid a few years ago. Believe it or not it's cheaper for me to buy things from Japan.

Fortunately I can just make my own bloody jig from a paperclip and just launch the OS from my phone with an OTG cable, 5 for 1$. All I need is the OS and to purchase a reg key online once it's launched.
