I hope Nintendo won't block title updates on banned consoles. At least not until we figure out how to update games manually.

Very doubtful they will block game/console updates. Why would they want games/firmwares to remain exploitable if one is found, even on a banned system?

I got my new console today. Linked my old Nintendo account to it (from banned console (2124-4007)). I couldn't download anything on the new console, because I had to unlink my banned one. That's unfortunaly not possible, because they blocked any service, so I wrote an email to the Nintendo support and surprisingly they unlinked the account from the banned console.
So I don't have to rebuy my games
