A Tiny Open-Source ModChip Designed For Installing Inside A Nintendo Switch Console!

We are creating a cheap opensource mod chip solution for the Switch. For now its a 5 wire solution, but might be able to get away with 4, I will also need 3-4 testers. This thing is tiny, so not for soldering noobs! Show me your soldering skills if you want in on the list

It has to be noted, this is in the very early design stages, only 'prototypes' are being developed right now by their team, but they looking for a few testers that are good at soldering skills, so if you advanced user with expert skills, contact them and get on-board the project.

For what I can see:

- 5 Solder Points (5V / GND for Power, D+ / D- for sending a payload, R for grounding pin 10)
- Some kind of MCU to orchestrate all the logic

They’ve always done software based exploit. Haven’t found any hard mods besides this one

Not really a fan of effectively soldering a USB dongle inside your Switch permanently when doing it externally is so much safer and easier. Plus with this installed you'll most likely not be able to use the dock or USB OTG.

I recently seen someone who does tiny smoldering, does that count

but yeah I'm guessing that design is very early, they could probably end up making it 1/4 that size, but with usb dongles being so user friendly I wouldn't expect hardware mods to be all that popular
