That does not mean Nintendo leaked their own game. Where did you get that nonsense from?

I know right it's amusing to think of, but that doesn't make it real, Nintendo wouldn't leak a top seller to ban a few idiots who'd take it online, especially if those who chose not to go online was fine to do it past the release date, much like myself.

I remember a PC game where the creators setup a torrent of their game but it was modified and the screen kept going pixelated, the amount of people that went online to ask and try and work out why their game was doing this... Bet the devs were pissing their self's laughing, they even got an email asking about the issue and they replied buy the game and dont steal it.

Well that had Anti-Piracy built into it where as the Pokemon leak didn't, it's just that a lot of idiots connected to the servers which was likely being maintained still for pre-launch, but it does bring up an interesting topic of Anti-Piracy measures though, like with Serious Sam 3, and the Unkillable Scorpian lol those where some good times

Same I kinda expect it at this point really, but at least Nintendo doesn't revoke your game cert banning you from offline play too much like Sony does when they ban you, so if that time comes I have a bunch of games already installed on my Switch.

It sounds like you won't be able to reach the eShop and redownload purchased titles if you're banned though. So any of your digital purchases you didn't have downloaded at the time would be lost.

Yup, I saw that while scrolling through the thread, all of the games I own I have downloaded, or in physical though, so it's not much of a lose on my end, well besides Splatoon 2 Online which I play often, If I do get banned I just hope it's after the Octo Expansion releases, I can't miss that xD

Purchases made using stolen information actually hurt the devs. You run the chance of hurting them purchasing from sites like that.

Some purchases are legit.. But most are not. All it takes is a report of fraud and shit hits the fan. Don't get complacent.
