What Xecuter is doing is using an Custom Version of Hekate ;) if you could patch it out your selfs you could do it with Hekate but nobody has the know how

That's usually the (shallow) argument for buying devices like this.

I fail to see how it's a shallow argument. People pay for convenience and yes convenience even exists for piracy. To many adults out there, a few hours of their time fiddling with tutorials and what not to install something isn't worth $30. So they're rather just buy a turnkey solution for $30 and have it easy.

They're trying to justify their habits. That's why it is, in fact, a shallow argument. You're not buying this for homebrew.. Guaranteed..

im personally hoping for cheat support eventually if this is anything similar to gateway. plus for $30 its cool to have lol.
On the fence about a purchase myself. Never cared for cheats, but it's a welcome experience for the sake of having it. I enjoyed my time with Gateway cheats. Plus, $30 isn't a bad price honestly. Still, I feel we'll see a free coldboot option sooner than later and this will be a collectors item. Dunno, just me I guess?

Can someone explain to me what it means by "real time game switching." Doesn't the Switch already do that by pushing the home button and switching games? Or is there some reason why we shouldn't have expected to still be able to do that on cfw? Or am I just completely misunderstanding what it's trying to say there.

I don't walk around with a USB cable.
let's agree that if you walk around with your nintendo switch in the backpack or bag has space for a quiet OTG cable to send the payload now if the purchase warrants to eliminate a cable there and with you

I think the activity in here shows how many people are only interested in 'homebrew' compared to how many 'say' they are only interested in homebrew ;).

You can switch backups (pirated games) on the fly without having to reboot

Ah, I guess I didn't think that a cfw would require a reboot after each game, but I take it that simply hitting home wouldn't work properly in cfw and maybe takes you back to the actual non-cfw or freezes or something like that.

Would still prefer a dongle in this situation. The cable is just... A long tumor with a brick (phone) at the end.

yea could sometimes be like that. (plus its a cool flashy feature for sales lol)
