Looks about as simple and harmless as it could possibly be. I may just go for this over making my own jig and following the tutorials for hacking out my higher FW Switch out. Of course how I approach hacking my system, will definitely depend on the price of this thing.

this is very convenient but we already have how to send a payload with an android that everyone has the only difference and that the atmosphere does not run backups yet but soon someone will find a way to do it wheels their isos of the micro sd card and another you always walk with your android not justufuca the purchase of a dongle that sends the payload in place of your android
The dongle is more convenient than a cable..

Also, I'm curious as to the details here. Looks promising. Just got a jig, though. So I don't think I'll be buying their dongle unless it offers more than the dongle..

I don't walk around with a USB cable.

think about it like this. $30 for infinite switch games vs paying for every game. a lot of people are going to buy into it.
That's usually the (shallow) argument for buying devices like this.

Gambia, The
Exploits are missing to handle Warm and Coldboot , if somebody wants to crash Xecuters Party just write how to play the backups

after the release i think someone look in it and make a free solution when no one have a solution before this
someone will implement this features to athmosphere

So they went with a cartridge emulator rather than just allowing people to install titles in NUS format.
I guess that makes sense, since all the current dumps are from cartridges, and Nintendo might have some measures in place to detect when titles are installed that aren't owned by any account on the system.
I like the PC-less dongle approach, but we need a device like this that works with other payloads, such as Linux and Atmosphere.

Well the one good reason I can see for buying this is that they'll probably have the first cfw out.
Maybe... We don't have solid details.. And it took them so long to give us even this video. They're conveniently moving at pace with the scene devs. So, that's hit and miss.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
