Hacking Upgrading from Ace3DS Plus to R4i Gold 3DS Plus

I bought my Ace3DS Plus a while back from 3ds-flashcard.com, simply because it was the cheapest that did the job. Which is playing DS games on my New 3DS XL (latest CFW).

While I had no problems with compatibility, and even cheats worked fine, I feel like it could be even better. I remember not being convinced I needed real-time saves a while back, but now I think it could be handy.

So I'm considering to get a R4i Gold 3DS Plus from nds-card.com, but I want to confirm some things first. Does the RTS still work? Is there still a slow motion feature? Can it be combined with RTS? Any more benefits (like fast forward)? Thanks.

RTS still works , the advantages are the card pre-flashed NTRboothax and with a switch into the cartridge. Also since you ever bought a flashcard from 3ds-flashcard site, you can get discount from them to buy the r4i gold 3ds plus, if the price is the reason you change to nds-card.

Never knew about that discount, thanks! I did know about the NTRboothax switch, but already got latest CFW thanks to SoundHax (I lucked out buying a used 3DS). I saw on an old YouTube video a slow motion feature, but turns out it's probably an older card...

Is there anything else other than NTRboothax switch, RTS, and +0.1% game compatibility? Because TBH, I'm not quite convinced to buy one yet. But I'll inquire about the discount later.

there is no other reasons, other that the ones you stated,
just stay with your ace3ds until it does not work for you any longer

Well I accepted the deal of $18.50 USD and shipping from USA... Except that I don't live in the US so it's going to be from Hong Kong (which is faster than China I guess).

Can't say I'm not disappointed, especially since what gave me the final push to order it was that I felt obligated to return the favour. Oh well, no hurry.

One more thing I found by a quick look at the firmware files is that R4i has more cheats than Ace3DS, which is nice (though I only used them for Chinatown Wars so far).

I finally got it, but cannot use RTS on Pokemon (Blaze) Black 2... And apparently, this is a known issue that shows up only once on Google.

Guess there's nothing much I can do about it, unless there's some sort of hack/patch/something. Better icon than Spongebob lol.
