Ok wow, sorry, but I just had to respond to that again. You cannot seriously tell me that your train of thought for this entire discussion was "Nintendo has done something you don't agree with, they are a big company and because an individual person is always right and a company is always wrong, reality will automatically bend itself to conform to your set of morals by magically spawning a previously non-existing law that just does whatever the fuck you want."

This is just sad. Maybe think about reestablishing your relationship to reality.
AGAIN FOR THE 1000TH TIME. Law of buying and reselling, look it the fuck up instead of spouting random nonsense that doesn't have anything to do with the conversation at hand making it seem ur right by trying to ridiculise me.

Here is one article and i'm sure you can find a 1000 more if you try ;)

No you're buying a key wich the other person illegally obtained. Knowingly buying stolen stuff is illegal but if you don't then it is not by the law of buying and reselling. For fuckd sake that I need to keep repeating everything over and over again because people tend to be 2 lazy to even read everything that was said. And no they didn't stop it. Stopping it would mean deleting the account or game but they blocked the whole switch from the internet
they stopped the problem for starting again. You are complaining about having to repeat yourself but here I'll have to repeat myself. You bought something illegally obtained. How would Nintendo know if you obtained it illegally?

"did you buy this illegally"
"nope"

Is that what you want to happen. If that was your account and they committed credit card fraud on your account your account would get banned.

Well, I am truly sorry to burst your bubble, but a law called "law of buying and reselling" simply does not exist.

You want to stop having to repeat yourself? Post a link to whatever law you are talking about.

Alright, I'll humor you. Here's what I get when I google "law of buying and reselling":

I'd like to point your attention to the fourth entry, which essentially disproves everything you have said.

Solution: format your switch and hope Nintendo didn't do what they did with the 3ds
I have no switch so I don't know how stuff works
But I know that with the vita your account is what gets banned
Hopefully ninty has done something similar that can be fixed with a format
But if you have no way of redownloading your games then don't
Also be glad your not that idiot who linked a stolen cc to their personal account then brought it up and admitted to cc theft XD

You can't even provide the damn law that you showed and it isn't illegal unless you knew how it was obtained. they can't prove that. You are a pity bitch who blocks a person because of your ability of being incompetent.

Hmmm, That's not entirely true! It can be illegal as it can count as identity theft in some cases. This is why it's complicated.

Nintendo actually also has the right to ban your console from their service if you agreed with their ToS. Eventhough I think I read somewhere that in Europe companies are not allowed to completly deny acces to content/service that you have a license on if you don't agree with their ToS or ToS changes either if that ToS for example forces you to lose certain beneficial rights & puts you in a weaker position.

They're also not obligated to do business with him based on that. In fact they can actually blacklist him or in this case his device, due suspicious activity, but they need to proof too he actually was the one that commited fraud etc. especially in case he wasn't a problem customer & or if he was a victim.

I agree though that removing or just banning that account should've sufficed! I guess they treated it like Nswitch like the 3ds 1 user account so device compromised/stolen. In case of a reported stolen Nswitch it would've been understandable to ban the device to prevent abuse until it's returned to the owner.

I don't like how ban happy they're over there either it's quite worrisome, unhealthy/anti-consumer business practice.
Their whole stubborn we will never unban you, even if it's actually our fault attitude is what I truly dislike & despise.

You're guilty, but we won't give proof as to why or how we found out nor will you get any chance to defend/explain yourself.
It's not guilty until proven & like punishment law works with companies like Nintendo. They play police & judge with their corrupted rules. You're a victim? Well, too bad it's your own fault don't look at ys for help eventhough were managing your digital licences. This is where they & other game companies need to work on! It's stupid you need laws to force them to do such an common sense thing. They want your money, data, trust etc. yet no legal responsibility/accountability, while they demand & force that from customers.

Ah well, good luck TC I hope it's not permanent ban, maybe complaining & getting advice at a consumer rights protection institute/agency will help. If you weren't aware you were buying an account tell them that, as you were victim if the prices weren't too cheap to make you feel suspicious. This can be case if, especially if you're dealing with prices of another currencies of another region's eshops, you can tell them you actually thought this was the case & weren't completely aware as a new Nswitch owner of how the everything works.

The way the site present itself is that they make it seem like a normal digital downloadcode shop it didn't mention account on the sales page, so people that're not aware that some games don't have a standalone retail downloadcodes like for example Atelier Lydie & Suelle (it can only be bought from Nintendo's site/eshop & anywhere else is a scam) or how to change their eshop region in case there's no online Nintendo eshop & support in their country will get scammed!

Buying an account is not illegal. Stealing a game is but you haven't stolen anything. He bought the account with a game on it for that reason that it had a particular game on it but it ain't illegal by law

Buying an account is illegal in some countries as in some countries they have your SSN attached! For example in Korea, you can't get any online (game) account without attaching/using your SSN! Also buying an account is illegal based on the fact that it's your digital online ID in some cases for the company/service, hence it's often already a bannable offense to provide false information as that already can count as fraud.Be careful with that!

Are you allowed you sell your passport or ID? I don't think so. Nor are you allowed to buy someone else's passport or ID, it's illegal unless the government doing this & even then you need to sign permission forms etc. to get an ID on behalf of someone. Some accounts work that way so please be careful claiming it's not illegal in some cases it is!

Buying/Transfering an account is only legal in case for example a company/agency that has legal permission & even then they're under strict privacy laws to do so, otherwise it's illegal. Just as login in on an account that isn't yours without the owners permission. This concerns privacy especially in EU & some Asian countries you need to be careful with this!

An account isn't the same as a physical object. And even then buying stolen goods is illegal even if you didn't know it's illegal & you'd have to proof there was no way you could've know it was something stolen!

And if you meant to say that buying game licenses that are on an account that's not yours then it's another story too it depends on copyrights & transfer rights laws etc. & the contract you have.
A Nintendo/PSN/XBOX account is like a library subscribtion the way it currently works you don't own the same game licenses as with a retail copy, they make you think you do. They're actually just renting it out, while they can quit providing that service whenever they want. That's also what's the problem & why you might not sell or share certain accounts. This has been kind of been abused for years by some game companies.

There might be some companies that allow transfer/selling of license though, but owner just gets the game removed from the account, just like with he sells a physical object if he want to play that game he/she has to rebuy it. Anyways Nintendo eshop, psn, etc. don't work that way.

hmm it is not illegal but you get banned from most services by doing so.

buying a steam account with games can get you banned from all steam purchases, same way for nintendo, sony and xbox, all companys do this, while not illegal its not ilegal for the providers to make stop selling you their games by breaking their tos.
