Hi, y'all. I bricked my Wii, but luckily I apparently had Priiloader installed on it already so it just boots to that. (There's no system menu.) I can access the Homebrew Channel from Priiloader, but whenever I try to install the 4.3u wad from mmm it always hangs on, "Installing 1/1: XXXXX.wad - Content 4/9"

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks,
PM260

EDIT: Oh, yeah, forgot to mention. There's no internet connection because the internet settings haven't been updated to the current router I own. (I couldn't even before I bricked my Wii because it was already semi-bricked before this so I couldn't access Wii Settings; it would say the system files are corrupt when I clicked on it.)

how did you brick? Installing a theme? If so load the homebrew channel through priiloader and install a different theme

No, I fully bricked it by trying to fix the aforementioned semibrick by installing the aforementioned wad, and it seemed to be hanging just like it does now so I cut the power and that just bricked the Wii more obviously.

Sorry that's beyond my knowledge then. Good luck

Are you sure it's priiloader u have or bootmii installed as boot2? If u can still access it after a failed system menu installation it almost sounds like maybe u have priiloader confused with bootmii.

Do u have to use the power/reset or GC controller buttons to launch the HBC? Or does the wii remote work? If the former, that's bootmii, if the latter, then you are correct and somehow your priiloader survived a partial system menu update.
