just wanting to ask do you think mental disorders are real or is it all in peoples heads. also what should be the treatment for them, should they take a break from work like a real illness?

when i said "is it all in peoples heads" i meant do they make it up.It's real AND it's in people's heads. The two aren't mutually exclusive. Where else would they be based? In the lungs? They should see some sort of professional like a therapist or psychiatrist or something, depending how bad it is.
I doubt anyone is willingly feeling atrocious.when i said "is it all in peoples heads" i meant do they make it up.
agian when i said "is it all in peoples heads" i meant do they make it up. also i do have my opinion on the matter i just want opinions of others and why do you want my age. (my opinion on the mater is they are real ive even suffered severe anxiety in the past though i got therapy)1. Mental disorders are on people's heads. Can't think of any mental ill that's not.
2. Treatment should depend on what caused the ill.
3. A break from work is not always a way to magically solve illnesses, but might help if work is the reason of it in the first place.
How old are you?
i think depression is caused by a lack of a chemical in the brainPeople have a hardtime to difference between "i'm bored" or "I'm a bit sad today" to crippling depression. Of course it's also in your head, that's where it's from. But it's not made up, it's real. Most depression and anxiety is linked to stress. Stress from job, time itself, people and money.
The funny thing is one could say it is in their head, in that it is real because of body chemistry. The human brain is still quite the mystery, and not everyone's brain is the same. One person can have a different reaction to something happening than another person, even if both people had the same exact experiences of their lives minute for minute prior. Randomization at its finest.Studies were behind them, so yes they are real.
I honestly find it insulting that people still believe that's "in your head".
Like if you are sad and someone tell them to stop being sad would magically made them feel better.
what do you mean over-diagnosedDepression is one of those things that tends to be over-diagnosed, but it is a real, proven disorder.

well i am a young teen (not 13 though) and why would that affect itAnd I think, that lack, comes from stress. That's how the body reacts to it. Our body is a mixture of chemistry and physics, but mostly chemistry. All its funciones are derived by chemical reactions.
I've asked your age, as a mere excercise of curiosity. Considering the type of community we are (gaming), questions like this would be seen as out of place, and most surely would not be asked by a teen (no offense meant).
