Love the work guys! I've been playing quite some Ultra Sun, and i see that you can use the QR Codes now, but is there any way to change the date in Citra so we can encounter the Pokemon we want?
Right now you can only encounter one Pokemon since it is on the default date and day.
Have you tried messing around with your Windows' date settings?
Omega Ruby can recognize the hour, judging how it appears whenever I save my game, so I'd say it's worth a shot.

Tried it literally before reading your post and it worked. Thanks!

Asking the same question here cause it also happens with Valentine's builds.

So i downloaded the latest build and i cant see any difference. I have a 7700k and a 1060. When i uncheck Limit Speed it stays at 60fps. With it "on/checked" it runs at 60fps but not stable at all.

Why is that? Im i doing something wrong? Im playing Pokemon Ultra Sun. Doubles are still really lagy.

How laggy?
Although SOME rendering work was moved to GPU, other stuff is STILL done by CPU. And it all is unoptimized and many things are not even implemented. This is a new emulator. I would call it pre-pre-alpha. So in the end, if you want huge upscaling and such, you can forget it for now. Unless you have the latest and best hardware money can buy. Wait till devs actualy implement things and optimize it a lot more.

Locked at 60, well asuming u have both emulation speed limit disabled AND Vsync disabled in citra, you likely have NVCP global settings set to VSync ON and have no custom Citra profile created with it off. So ether create a custom profile or disable global Vsync.

i foudn this to boost my speed, so give it a try.
Go into the qt-config.ini file in C:/Users/your username/AppData/Roaming/citra/config and change the hw_shaders in the Renderer part to 2.

Been trying different builds and setting to try to get through kid Icarus this week. However the ones that actually get in game just crash after a while. Is this a known issue and have there been any ways around it so far? I mostly just want to rip textures so being slow wouldn't be an issue.

I mostly used an old one from sickc but the end result from both is the same for val's in addition to it being slow at above base res. Using an i5 4200H and 950m.

Not the best, but i think 1060+7700k its good for Citra. What i dont understand its the locked 60 fps even with the limit stuff off. Doubles are as lagy as they were with old builds. When the mons come out of the pokeballs its lagy, atacks, stuff like that.

Thanks, but nothing. Checked my NVIDIA panel and i dont have a profile for Citra. Its weird man. I also tried what you said. With limit off its still 60 fps and if i put something like "300%" it shows 100%/300% so it never goes over that.

Any way to just errase every last bit of Citra files? Like that one in AppData. Maybe some old files are causing that.

Btw im using the Citra-qt exe file cause the other one does not open. I thought thats normal. Is it?

So did u try to create a custom profile for the Citra-qt.exe for the build ur using ? The only reason i can think you would be locked to 60 FPS is Vsync. Infact if u run a game on citra, check to see if u get screen tearing, if you dont, then u deffinatly have Vsync on.

Im getting huge Fps drop on canary build while playing KH DDD. Sandbox Build Is faster idk why it slow down on the latest Canary build. Im getting like 23 to 28 fps on some area of the game on sanbox build it passed 30fps.

KHDDD need the "texture encode/decode" or warever is calling @jroweboy realized that long ago while the PR Texcache rework are in Canary he put a little hack in that PR making this and others games like Super Smash Bros a great boost speed but that hack broke other games so he decide remove the hack, of course slowdown again those games until someone can truly implement the enconde/decode thing (check comments in that PR), in KHDDD you can notice faster speed only in zones where dont need it like in Tree musketeers or la cité worlds, basicaly where the Perfomence warning message in the console log dont spam infinitely

Been toying with some of the older builds shared here around nov-dec and amusingly, roars, flashbombs and astalos don't cause a slowdown. I'm terribly curious to know if this is related with threaded-vtx or the format reinterpretation hack mentioned above.

EDIT: First canary with texture cache rework(256) is modestly fast(15-20 fps in quest) and exhibits no slowdown with the things mentioned. Tried a later canary(272) and found out it exhibits the same situational slowdowns that are seen today.

EDIT: drwhojan and sickc's builds suffer no slowdown while valentinvaneislande's does. My guess so far is this is related to the aforementioned hack and the former two have always left it on their builds.

I hope they can make this game playable. I want really want to finish the game like Pokemon Ultra Moon.

I don't understand how I'm supposed to use builds that don't have a release thingy, I've tried to "build" it . Which I assume I did successfully, but now I don't know how to make it usable.

@valentinvanelslande
Hey, could you please enable the "toggle frame limit" (CTRL+Z) again on your builds? I used to use an unofficial build that still has that but builds w/ GPU renderer don't have that hotkey anymore. If you can't enable it again, could you edit the increments in "increase/decrease speed limit" to 100% increments instead of 5% ?

Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
