A repository appeared on GitHub which apparently converts saves from the Wii U Save file format into the Switch's File format so that you can transfer your save from the Wii U version to the Switch's and viceversa.

Now, how can the save be transfered to the Switch? Will something similar be done to Hyrule Warriors and other Wii U to Switch ports?
Maybe?
It depends on how different the ports are form each other.
BotW was a dual release on the same day (for both Wii U and Switch version).

But for HWDX, things are different, as that one has a lot more things into it for saving compared to the Wii U version.
 
So if we can't use the Switch save file, how do we know if this convertor even works?

1. dump the savegame from the switch
2. convert it to wii u savegame format
3. edit the wii u savegame with a wii u botw save editor
4. convert it back to switch savegame format
5. inject it to the switch
6. profit?

I don't see why not.
Dump the Switch file and convert it to Wii U format, then try to load it up in the editor.
Should work in theory.
 
I tried to dumped the savegame of botw but if got an error message:

ERROR: [6, 'sc.getFSPPR is not a function. (In \ 'sc.getFSPPR()\', \ 'sc.getFSPPR\' is undefined)' ]

1. I've copied the file in to my usefulscripts folder & changed the title id
2. run botw and go back to the home menu
3. start pegaswitch
4. I've run evalfile ./usefulscripts/save_dump.js
5. error in the pegaswitch terminal appeared

seams like the function getFSPPR is not included to pegaswitch?

used a fork from 3096 with implemented getFSPPR
last function is not working:

I would suggest you get in contact with Rei himself or someone from the Reswitched team perhaps, they might be able to help you out in details with those issues.

I believe you can just edit the Save Editor to use little endian value so you can edit Switch save directly.

But is there a way to update BotW to 1.5.0 w/o updating the fw since 3.0.0? Afaik it's not possible.

I don’t know my botw came with version 1.0.0 do we need to update the game first?
