This week's hardware sales
MediaCreatePieChart.php

This week we see Kirby Star Allies debut straight in at #1 on the chart, with an impressive 222k units sold. Hokuto Ga Gotoku (Fist of the North Star) sales drop by 83%, now placing the title in the 5th spot after just one week at the top.
Attack on Titan 2 charts 3 times; for PS4, Switch and Vita - but numbers are pretty low, with all 3 SKUs barely breaking 65k combined.
Splatoon 2 continues to amaze, now sitting pretty at #2 with a cool 2.1million units sold.
All other software sales are low, despite there being a total of #11 new releases in the top 20 this week.
Nintendo and Sony now share the top 20 equally for the first time in 2018 - each company has 50% of the chart if we combine PS4/Vita and 3DS/Switch sales.

Switch hardware sales are on still on the rise, with a nice 25% increase from week #10. All other hardware sales see a slight dip.

In japan of course... in the rest of the world ps4 sold about 20 million units last year.
PS4 has had a bit more time to get well established and be able to be produced more efficiently time wise so I feel like that's sort of an unfair comparison a little

It's still popular in japan
Poor soul, will the Vita ever know peace? Lay it to rest that it may find eternal solace.

EDIT: On a more serious note, I get that it still has popularity, but Sony doesn't really care for it anymore, and developers of Vita games would likely find more success and a wider audience on other platforms. The Vita had its chance, and its end-days have long since past. Any new Vita release feels akin to a brand new Xbox 360 or PS3 release. Not an exact analogy, but the Vita was cremated years ago by Sony.

2-3 years from now, it would be a perfect time to release a new Handheld from Sony. A good competition to nintendo handhelds.

Add R2/L2 and R3/L3 physical button. Upgrade processing power. Upgrade the form factor to more aggressive, ditch the f*cking expensive proprietary memory cards. Shower with AAA Titles in the first year. And make the remote play compatible to any Playstation Game (latest gen up to the oldest possible)

This thing would be beautiful.

There's already one out in Japan. It's called XX.
Monster Hunter XX is a remaster of the the game from 3ds to the switch . It's not MH:World.

MH:XX is an enhanced version of the game MH:Generations released for the 3ds. It was then remastered to the switch. It is a different game from MH:World.
