Runs really good besides some minor sound lags. The biggest issue is that it won't clear the screen: You have to play through the entire game in one run because if you load a savegame, the game will be unplayable because the loading screen will block your view.

Rinne stated in the first post that these bugs are known and a fix is already in the works.

I reworked the audio code again. Could anybody try again with these two?

Thanks!

Oh and tell me when you see an error printed on screen.

Okay people here is the next test release. It adds a Touch UI that can be toggled with ZL in 3 modes (visible, hidden and stretched) and the Touch UI has the buttons 0-9 and other numpad stuff. These buttons are used by some games.

Here is the new NRO: https://easyrpg.org/downloads/tmp/easyrpg-player.nro .
Please test with the following game
if the touch works: https://easyrpg.org/downloads/tmp/Project16.zip
The game will show the button you are currently touching. Due to engine limitations you can only press one number and one non-number at once. Which means you can test 2-finger multitouch. Please tell me if this works correctly.
Also tell me if the audio works for you. In "Project16" it is probably corrupted because it uses OPUS which is slow to decode. When the audio glitches you must restart the app. But Ib should have proper audio.

Is the graphical overlay glitch fixed? Can't progress in "Vampires Dawn" because the save menu block my view.

No. This fix will be part of the next release. See it as a motivation to do the test I asked for in my previous post ;).

I just tested it: Touch and multi-touch (when I press a numeral and non-numeral at the same time) does work. The music works perfect, no glitches, no slowdowns, no hickups or other issues.

But I can't steer the character, I don't know if this is normal behavior of "Project 16".

That was intended because 4, 6, 8 and 2 move the character around if you don't block it.

Great, I'm going to preper a final release for this evening.

i have to wait.......i got a Switch on 4.1.0.......a used one....the idiot (previous owner updated it to latest because of fckn FIFA 18)...it was an 1.0 Switch..........:angry::angry::angry::angry:

As promised here is the final version:

Download: https://easyrpg.org/downloads/tmp/easyrpg-player-switch.zip

Fixes visual glitches and audio and adds a touch ui that can be toggled with ZL.

Official annoucement follows later but thats basicly it.

It also supports "standalone mode", simply put the game files directly in easyrpg-player folder (or in a renamed folder), then the game starts instead of the game browser (though probably not too useful because the title shown in the Homebrew browser will be the same).

Thanks dude, you are doing gods work. Now people who don't want to learn a programming language can create Homebrew games and fans of RPG-Maker games can enjoy their games on the go. No joke, I'm more hyped about this than about Retroarch and its cores.
