Hello,

would anybody of you be so kind to test the new Player version:

We experience problems with the startup and are not sure if this is our homebrew setup or if the new build is bad in general. Please test

I'm also having problems on startup with the player on SX 2.0.1 / Switch 6.0.1
I get Error:
.is not a valid path

Just downloaded this new player and the problem persists. Will double check now.

The ". is not vaild" is an issue that we have on multiple platforms. I applied now the workaround we use on them to the Switch version. Does it work better/at all?

Yes! It worked for me now. Although I only have Yume Nikki at hand right now and it crashes (Switch error 2168-0001).
Will try to test other games after I get back from work. Cheers!

Best would be if you try with a game that only uses filenames that have ASCII (A-Z, a-z, 0-9) because of problems with the Switch filesystem API. (We are working on loading games from ZIP files, which will solve this Switch-only problem :/)

The Steam version of Yume Nikki (https://store.steampowered.com/app/650700/Yume_Nikki/) has "normal" filenames.

As 2nd test I suggest v3.0 of OFF: http://off.wikia.com/wiki/Downloads

Both are working flawlessly as far as I can tell. Can save and load games, all inputs working!
Is there anything more specific you would like me to look into?

This confirms that the Player works in general and only has some bugs (crashes when the filenames are non-Ascii. It shouldn't crash at least, loading these games is not fixable because Nintendo messed up) and the problems with Docked mode need some work.

That's great news!
I haven't be able to test much due to work, but music/sfx were working just fine. Didn't notice any glitches with resizing/speeding the game up. but it is worth mentioning I only played in portable mode so far. Will try to give some feedback on docked as well soon.
Now I'm not sure if it's intended or not, but my B button doesn't really work, "it's" function seems to be mapped to X. Also left analog does not emulate a d-pad.

Hi, I have been working lately on getting the Player to work with GL.
Attached is a test build, feedback is appreciated.
This should allow us to run docked, however, not tested by me, as I have no dock available here.

May you please do the menu option to change the game region settings for non-English games? Like in Android interpreter, where one can modify the game settings in easyRPG Player to Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Greece, Cyrilllic, Turkish region and so on?

Hi, I want to play "Unterwegs in Düsterburg"(1) an old german first-class RPG. There are problems with german umlauts in filemanes (äöü ÄÖÜ). The files are on the sd card. See the attached images.
