So I was playing psx and n64 games yesterday and I noticed a random crashing and restarting during in-game. What I was thinking maybe the factors are:
- Heat issue: nes mini thermal hardware design cannot handle 3d games as N64 and PS4 which I think it lacks heatsink that could help. This also happens after I enabled "enhanced resolution (slow)" and smoothing for PSX and moved to glupen from mupen. After hours noticing it, I revert back the enhanced settings and still getting an issue.
- New Retroarch 171: I've never experience this issue on 170 though can be coincidence because I started to play PSX on 171.
- Settings: maybe there are options that is really unstable?
- Unstable emulation: probably just a coincident as I just played 4 games yesterday.
- Nes mini issue: maybe snes mini is just better hardware wise. In the net they were saying they are the same but if you look closely some tiny stuff is different.
