Hi all,

A good friend of mine is in the market for a new PC. He wants the best bang for his buck and asked me to figure out the best possible gaming PC. So I turn to you all. What is the BEST GAMING PC? What would you put in to it?

Let me know below and thanks for your input!

He's not broke and he said " What's the best I can get??" I askes price but he wouldn't tell me. So I guess best possible. And if you like maybe one that's top of the line but reasonable expectations. It needs to play everything out there in full resolution, FPS etc etc.

I'll throw something together, then. I would like to stress that Nvidia will be unveiling their 20 series cards (Volta) sometime in the next two months, though, so it may be beneficial to wait. We could offer a stand-in card that will most likely be comparable to the launch version (based on Nvidia's release history), but it'll probably add unnecessary cost to the build

If your friend is into mining, for $16,000 he can get the Baikal Giant B, which can earn you up to $25K in Bitcoin/month, apparently.
Make sure to grab a motherboard with at least 2 PCI-E slots, because you'll want an SLI setup.

It's just a hypothetical. He isn't concerned with price. He was looking at a $2000 PC and thought it was not good enough so..
Aight. What's his aesthetic? (I'm looking for cases)

Is he a "flashy, polished chrome, smokey glass and colored lighting everywhere" kinda guy, or does he prefer to keep things looking minimalistic?

IDK, I think he wants gaming flash over case flash. I'll text him and get a realistic budget ..

CPU: Intel Core i9X 7900X
GPU: 2-4x NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X
RAM: 64 GB
Those are some good ones, but remember that the NVIDIA Titan V is coming out soon, which will be significantly better.

If you're going for an all-out waste of money, go with a 1500W Corsair AX1500i Power Supply. If you want to be more reasonable but still somewhat insane, go for a 1000-Watt Power Supply.
