so i deleted the config file and the ntr folder in my 3ds folder on my sd card... yet it still keeps booting ntr. Im trying to delete everything so it can be redownloaded again, am i missing the actual directory?
Did you delete SD:/3ds/BootNTRSelector? That's the new folder as of v2.9 of Selector. And make sure you delete these folders: SD:/Nintendo 3DS/EBNTR/ & SD:/3ds/ntr/.so i deleted the config file and the ntr folder in my 3ds folder on my sd card... yet it still keeps booting ntr. Did you have a plugin loaded? We're you streaming? Both of these things only work one game at a time.Hi, I can't change the game after launching bootntr selector. My n3DS is stuck on the "Nintendo 3DS" loading screen when I exit the first game launched right after bootntr selector. This also happens when the same game is exited and launched again. I have to reboot my console each time, this is very annoying :/
Thanks

If you use a plugin, you also can't reset a game, even if it's the current game your running.Yes I have a plugin, that's why I use BootNTR Selector. Thank you for your answer
Can I, at least, reset a game ?
Which games are you using it with?how can i fix the errors #FILEOPEN_FAILURE and #LOAD_AND_EXECUTE on Mode3, im using firmware 11.6 and ol3ds
hi community, thanks for the guide, however, im a noob and the instructions of simply installing cia and launching ntr isnt so easy for someone like me. can anyone help? i just hacked my old3ds last night. runs luma. dont think i even have NTR yet. assuming i need to download different versions of NTR after this? if so, which and how? regarding ntr selector, which files do i download, cuz theres alot of cia files on the linked page, so im not sure if i need them all. also, where do i place them and how do i then boot ntr? thanksHello guys !
I'm sharing with you a little mod of the BootNTR which will allows you to choose the version of NTR you want to load.
You have the choice between the version 3.2, 3.3, 3.6.
Nothing awesome but it can be useful to easily switch NTR's versions.
Features:
- A version selector
- Firm 11.6 compatible
- Should be a bit faster than the original to load the cfw.
- Auto updater
- Check if NTR is already running before loading another one to avoid a crash
- Extended Mode Memory Support on Old3DS using the Mode3 version
Download
How to use / install it ?
Simply install the cia, launch the BootNTR APP and follow the screen instructions, no extras files are required.
Last Update: 2.11
The updater will update the app to the latest version automatically so enable Internet on your console before launching the Selector to be able to get the last version.
Since 2.4 the auto-updater only check update once a week.
You can force the check by pressing X while the app boots.
To old3DS users: launching the app before the homemenu is completely loaded may result in a crash / error.
So before launching it, wait a couple of seconds for the homemenu to be fully loaded.
Also, when updating the Mode 3 / Normal version you also must update the other one to avoid issues.

You need to manually download the official BootNTR right now. Github removed TLSv1.1 just a few days ago. Up until then it was working perfectly.if thats so then why is everyone on here? as in whats the difference between what im trying to do and what others are here for? also, where can i find the official boot ntr? thanks
Ah ok thanks. Just missed the cut, darn. any idea when we can expect it to be up again? granted, it seems like its not essential to functionality, right?Github removed TLSv1.1 just a few days ago. Up until then it was working perfectly.
Hopefully an update gets released soon that will use a different server for auto updates and NTR downloads. For now use https://github.com/44670/BootNTR/releasesAh ok thanks. Hmm ? The only thing broken is the auto update.Hopefully an update gets released soon that will use a different server for auto updates and NTR downloads. For now use https://github.com/44670/BootNTR/releases
Doesn't this also download the different versions of NTR?Hmm ? The only thing broken is the auto update.
If you download the last version manually from github's release and install it with fbi (or any cia installer) then everything works fine.
Nope, the different versions are packed in the romfs of the app and installed from there.Doesn't this also download the different versions of NTR?
Strange, then. I wonder why he can't get it working.Nope, the different versions are packed in the romfs of the app and installed from there.
