They don't seem publicly interested in doing that, most likely because current homebrew relies on smhax which is 3.0.0 exclusive. I wouldn't count on switchbrew backporting

There are currently no games on eShop that interest me, I'm good, and yes, I have. But with all the names of the hacks, what team was doing what, etc, how on earth was I supposed to know what hack did what?

It can definitely get confusing. I just happen to closely follow everything that goes on and use multiple sources to come to these conclusions. This info is kind of spread apart so unless you have all the pieces it won't entirely make sense

Oh also recommend looking at NueroVoider on eshop. Not sure if it's something you would personally like but I've been having a blast with it

So I was just reading through the instructions on the Switchbrew to run the homebrew Launcher and it says "Set your Switch DNS server to 104.236.106.125, and perform a connection test." How do I do a connection test? I haven't connected my Switch to the internet in forever.

With cfw being possible on all current firmwares, we'll see hbl on 2.x eventually. But that will be done by reswitched, not switchbrew

hbl is just homebrew applications so i can wait, unless they get a psx and psp emulator going soon. been getting a final fantasy itch that ffxv+vi couldn't scratch

Because there are people that can create homebrew to damage your console. Hence why it says "untrusted". As long as you're careful and use "trusted" homebrew, you won't damage your Switch.

Nope, they don't plan on making it work, best for us to not plan on it happening. Sure, there is trusthax, etc for 4.1.0, but no HB launcher.
Not worth spending 300 dollars to get an exploitable system IMO.

From what I can tell a good chunk of that is people like me who can't use it due to updating but are here because it's cool and interesting. Hence why this thread isn't blowing up as much as other threads that have a larger user base that can make use of it.

this is not very useful for now anyways all you can do is run emulators and some basic homebrews with trustzone you can be on the lasted firmware with hacks so you don't need to buy two switches. it will be worth waiting for.

Actually not even emulators right now as most of then are currently compiled in libtransistor, which won't work on this hbl currently

Guys you need to make sure that whatever you put in DNS 1 also needs to be in DNS 2. if DNS 1 fails then the switch could go online using the empty DNS 2. seriously read up before just installing things.

you need to use internet connection after each cold boot of the switch
it is NOT working at 100% , sometimes it get stuck to the pegaswitch screen ( sorry for the typing mistake)

just tried the playtone example, and it does not work. but HBL does !!
