There are still emulators and programs though. And with Windows 10 ARM on the horizon, maybe there's a possibility for Steam ARM in the future?

the point is, they trolled the wii u community. now they are trolling this community. some of their trolls have even come here to leave comments about how they are happy that they aren't releasing anything because we should be happy for their accomplishments and the screenshots that they post. i'm not excited or angry because in all likelihood they haven't actually done anything. its like this weird wizard of oz situation where almost everyone here is bowing down to their accomplishments, which they have not and will not release. most likely they are just still trying to figure it out. hopefully they will make some progress at some point, but in the meantime there are many other more knowledgeable people making good progress so i'm not too worried about it.

Linux is free and open-source, Windows is proprietary and Windows on ARM is not publically available (afaik). Also, you can do much more with Linux on such hardware.

Well, the Raspberry Pi is ARM. That didnt stop anyone. Pretty sure it runs retroarch.
